India Cement Ltd acuire rights to the franchise for 10 years in 2008. N. Srinivasan, vice president and general manager of India Cement Ltd. VB Chandrasekhar is the chief selector of the Chennai Super Kings, who was the former Opner batsman of Indian cricket team Opener.
